Meet Our Coaches

 

Rob is a marathon coach and has helped thousands of people complete their first marathon. He is also a graduate of a professional cooking school and is a certified personal trainer. Rob developed Body Boot Camp in order to combine his love of fitness with his passion for healthy food and nutrition. Rob writes the Boot Camp Nutritional Blog which is full of information about food and nutrition and contains lots of healthy recipes.

Kacie has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years and graduated from SBCC with a degree in Physical Fitness. She is also certified as a trainer through the AFAA and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine.) Her advanced skill level and high energy provides participants with fun and effective workouts.

Brandi grew up in LA. and graduated from UCSB with a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Group Fitness and Personal Training.   CPT through NASM.  Brandi has been a dance teacher for the past 7 years. She trained professionally in ballroom, jazz, ballet, hip hop, salsa. Currently, she teaches spinning, kickboxing, and strength training.  She plans on obtaining a masters in nutrition and a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu to eventually be a personal trainer/personal chef for someone big someday!

Angelica has lived in SB for over 15 years and can’t think of a better place to be!. She has a passion for surfing, fitness, nutrition, and motivating people of all ages. She graduated from SBCC with an AA in Biology and has been a certified ACE Personal Trainer for over 7 years. She also is a certified Pilates Instructor which influences her style in training focusing on the core. Her goal as an instructor is to make every workout fun, effective, and improve the quality of life.

Eric is a trainer, running coach, exercise enthusiast, wellness advocate, or anything that has to do with a healthy well being.  If given the opportunity to do an activity his answer is always going to be yes.  While calm, relaxed, and easy going Eric loves to push people to their limits and see them succeed. Eric grew up in the small suburb of Millbrae, just south of San Francisco. Eric is certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and has a double minor in Exercise and Sport Studies with emphasis in Fitness Instruction and Exercise and Health Science. Eric has run 4 marathons and will be competing in his first Ironman triathlon. Eric promotes a pain free life that includes proper posture and biomechanics and is a great asset to our team.
